One table, four steps
You follow a single epoxy and wood table from rough slab to finished piece. Each step ends with a clear next task, so you always know what to do next.

Get the exact materials
Follow my supply list so your results match mine. No guessing at resins, pigments or tools.
Prep alongside me
Flatten, lay out and build a leak-proof form side by side with me, one clear step at a time.
Pour, start to finish
Mix, tint and pour with me guiding every stage, including how to rescue a leak.
Finish the table
Sand, finish and mount the base so the top can move with the seasons without cracking.
What the eight modules cover
I used to teach this in person, to workshops of woodworkers from around the world. The best parts of those days became this course.
Start-to-finish instruction
With basic woodworking knowledge and a few tools, you will make an epoxy table from start to finish.
Select and prepare wood
Buy wood that is dried to your climate, treated for bugs and ready to work.
Professional design layout
Choose a layout that separates you from 90% of epoxy table makers.
Epoxy form building 101
Build a form that will not leak. And learn how to stop one, should you make a small mistake.
The science of epoxy mixology
Calculate and mix the right amount of epoxy for your pour.
Dial in the perfect color
Get the exact color you want, and match it again later.
The finishing details
Sand, finish and care for the table, and refresh or refinish it to keep it looking new.
Your final epoxy table
Attach the legs to account for wood movement so the piece does not crack season to season.

Who is teaching
I’m Cam Anderson, and I run Blacktail Studio. In less than five years I went from a novice who ruined his first epoxy table to one of the best-known makers of epoxy tables, and one of the people who teaches it most.
My epoxy builds and tutorials have more than 90 million views on YouTube. My first epoxy table sold for $900; today my tables sell for $10,000 to over $30,000.
This workshop is everything I would tell you if you were standing next to me in the shop.
Questions
Do I need woodworking experience?
Some. You should be comfortable with a range of power tools before starting an epoxy table. Beyond that, the workshop is built for everyone from people who have never mixed epoxy to people who have made several tables and want to level up.
Can I rewatch the lessons?
As many times as you like. Watching video in the shop can be awkward, so there is also a step-by-step PDF guide that is easier to reference in the middle of mixing epoxy.
What if it is not for me?
Try it for 30 days. If it is not the right fit for any reason, ask for a refund and you will get one. No questions asked.
Where do I watch it after I buy?
In your account at workshops.blacktailstudio.com. Questions about technique go in the comments under each lesson so every student can benefit. Billing or login problems go to [email protected].
